Yes, you can make copies of your games stored on a USB flash drive or memory card (if you a card reader). Since you ask for a USB flash drive, all you need do is put the USB flash drive in the PS3, go into your stores you want a backup, press ▲, press Copy, then select your USB key to copy. XMB> Game> Saved Data Utility> "Save game data"> ▲> Copy> USB Flash Drive when you want to save game data again on the PS3, put USB flash drive in the PS3, then click copy data back and copied onto your PS3. XMB> Game> "USB flash drive"> "Save game data"> ▲> Copy

What is all backed up when you run the backup utility of PS3?

I saw several posts in here and around the web that says "everything" is a backup, but what does that mean? In particular, I want to know if both game data and game data is covered by Save the backup utility. I am confused about this because people Maby have questions about the data backup gamesave itself. In addition, this backup of my music and photos I have there, or am I doing myself? Finally, in terms of file protection will still Backup to copy for my storage device (external FAT32 disk encryption)? I think Rock Band protected files cons copy and do not want to lose these (I spent literally days worth of time playing this game). I'll make my drive this week and I would whether something should be registered manually

Unfortunately, saved games with the protection of copyright is not registered you must start in games. Includes everything except for the NSP information (game stats online account information, and trophies), which are stored on online servers. Make sure you synchronize your tropical before starting. Particularly regarding Media (music, videos, photos) must also be included, but again these items manually anyway because I have a lot of room for it and do damage to be very careful. I do the same thing for my saved games. I do not know if the game content NHP / demos are recorded as well, but keep in mind that you can re-download these things through the list of download links at the top of the homepage of the PSN store, if necessary.
